Gurugram, March 25 -- Being in isolation for 17 days after contracting coronavirus last August gave Ami Lal, a 38-year-old assistant sub-inspector of police with the crime investigation unit-39, time to ponder the impact of Covid-19 on families and strengthened his resolve to help those infected with the virus. That was when he decided to donate plasma to help critically-ill patients fight the virus and was felicitated for the same on Republic Day....
