India, Feb. 22 -- French President Emmanuel Macron's three-day visit to India, February 17-19, was marked by diplomacy, cultural exchange and a touch of music. Among those accompanying him and his wife, Brigitte Macron, was Grammy-winning musician Ricky Kej, who joined the delegation and even travelled with him on the presidential aircraft. Kej, who has known Macron since 2022 after an event in Paris honouring Prime Minister Narendra Modi, shared that he had dinner with the President on his plane and spent time discussing art and culture. Now, the musician hopes that the connection may one day turn into a creative collaboration. "He (Macron) is a musician, actually. He has studied music, and places a huge importance on art and culture, especially music... I am hoping that someday I will be able to collaborate with him (on a song). Maybe after he retires," says Kej. The 44-year-old also shared his latest creation with the President. "During this trip, I made a song in my hotel room studio (a laptop and a mobile set-up I always carry) and sent it to him. He really liked it. I'll release it soon," Kej ends.....
