India, April 5 -- A head of the Mumbai Indians (MI) clash with the Delhi Capitals yesterday, cricketer Surya Kumar Yadav had a fun moment recreating actor Akshaye Khanna's viral dance step on stage at an MI event. The team's Instagram account on Friday shared a video of Suryakumar grooving to Flipperachi's FA9LA from Dhurandhar (2025), a track that had gone viral after its release. In the clip, the song plays as the cricketer is called on stage, and he instantly breaks into Akshaye's signature moves from the film. He pauses midway and walks a few steps, only to give in and start dancing again. The caption read, "Ye Dada ka style hai, full Dhurandhar mode". This isn't the first time the 35-year-old has shown his fondness for Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar franchise. Recently, when MI team owner Nita Ambani was praising cricketer Jasprit Bumrah's bowling, Suryakumar teased him, saying, "Ghar ki yaad nahi aayi, Jassi?" The line is a popular dialogue from Dhurandhar: The Revenge, originally delivered to actor Ranveer Singh in the film.
