From Delhi to Chandigarh, Dr Jaina's musical initiative uplifts elderly residents
India, April 5 -- What began in Delhi's old age homes as a heartfelt musical journey has now reached Chandigarh, spreading joy, compassion, and emotional healing among elderly residents. Producer, director, writer, actor, singer and humanitarian Dr Engineer Rajainderr Jaina organised a special musical evening titled An Evening Dedicated to the Elderly Brethren at Kartar Aasra Trust, Chandigarh.
The event was dedicated to elderly residents who often face loneliness and emotional isolation. Making the evening even more meaningful, senior citizens from Kanjhawla Old Age Home, Delhi, also travelled to Chandigarh to participate in this emotional celebration of music, companionship, and happiness. Their presence added warmth and strengthened the spirit of togetherness.
During the programme, Dr Engineer Jaina shared that singing is his passion, and through music, he tries to reach those who are often left alone in the fast pace of life. He emphasised that while many people provide food and clothing to elderly residents, they also need emotional support, time, and affection.
Dr Jaina performed around fifteen timeless evergreen songs, including O Janeman Dilara and Aaj Gaa Lo Muskura Lo, creating a nostalgic atmosphere filled with smiles and joy.
The muhurat (launch) of Dr Jaina's upcoming feature film Bedakhal and short film Pita Ya Paisa was also held at the adjoining Gurudwara. Kartar Aasra Trust founder Charan Kamal Kaur appreciated the noble initiative. HTC...
