BTS agency HYBE launches India auditions

ays after K-pop boy band BTS' comeback concert and the release of their album Arirang on Friday, their parent company HYBE is now eyeing India as a new talent hub.
HYBE India has announced the launch of the HYBE INDIA Audition, marking the entertainment giant's formal entry into India's talent ecosystem. The auditions will be conducted through a mix of online and offline formats, with in-person rounds planned across key cities including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.
According to a company spokesperson, the initiative aligns with HYBE's "multi-home, multi-genre" strategy. "The HYBE INDIA Audition aims to identify aspiring music talent from India and the Indian diaspora. It will offer selected applicants a rare opportunity to enter the company's world-class training and production ecosystem, nurturing artists who can represent India on the global stage," a statement noted.
HYBE India had set up its Mumbai headquarters in September last year, marking its fifth international hub after Japan, the US, Latin America and China. HTC...
