Bollywood pays tribute to late Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar
India, Jan. 29 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar died aged 66 on Wednesday after his aircraft crashed while attempting to land in Baramati, Maharashtra. All six people aboard were declared dead, including Pawar; his security officer, Vidip Jadhav; pilots Shambhavi Pathak and Sumit Kapur; and flight attendant, Pinki Mali.
Several actors expressed grief and shock at the news. Actor-politician Kangana Ranaut, who was on her way to Parliament when she heard the news, appeared visibly shaken as she told reporters, "That's horrible news, and I'm so sorry because we are always in a rush to come here early.. There are no words to express. But I will align my emotions a little and then give a statement."...
