he Capital witnessed a charged mix of faith and festivity as astrology service Via Veda hosted a Maha Shivratri Bhajan Jamming Night at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. What began with the serene notes of the Ganga Aarti soon built into a high-energy devotional concert, drawing thousands across age groups.
Positioned as a 'bhajan clubbing' experience, the evening fused traditional chants with immersive soundscapes. As Om Namah Shivaya reverberated under the open sky, the crowd swayed in unison, turning the venue into a sea of raised hands and phone lights.
Performers Suhas Sawant and Gajendra Pratap Singh led the momentum with powerful renditions of Jai Mahakaal, Kailash Mein Niwasi and Dulha Bane Hai Baba, striking a strong chord with younger attendees who called it a refreshing way to celebrate tradition.
Adding to the spiritual layer, visitors received vibhuti from the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Panchmukhi Siddh Rudraksha from the Pashupatinath Temple.
