India, March 29 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu spent a nostalgic afternoon in Model Town on Thursday, revisiting a neighbourhood closely tied to his student days at Delhi University. Sharing a post on social media, he revealed that the visit was an unplanned detour to reconnect with memories from his college years. The casual outing quickly caught the attention of shoppers and students in the area, many of whom were surprised to see the L-G moving around without fanfare. "I was standing with my friends near a stall when we realised it was him. At first, we thought it was someone who looked like him, but then people started gathering. It was quite unexpected to see the L-G just eating chaat like everyone else," says Riya Malhotra, a student of Ramjas College. Later, Sandhu was also spotted at a nearby Delhi Metro station, where he interacted with commuters and students, obliging several with selfies.
