A garden soiree to remember
India, April 15 -- On Friday, the gardens of Bikaner House witnessed an intimate cultural gathering, drawing a refined crowd from Delhi's social circuit.
The cool summer evening was equal parts intimate and celebratory. As the drinks flowed, so did heartfelt tributes, lending the event a personal and nostalgic tone.
In attendance were designer Leena Singh, entrepreneur Rhea Jay Singh, entrepreneur Jitin Chada, FDCI chairman Sunil Sethi, bureaucrat Amitabh Kant, alongside wife Ranjeeta Kant, journalist Nalini Singh, designer Payal Jain, and Kathak exponent Shovana Narayan, politician Shazia Ilmi among others.
The highlight was a curated musical programme, which opened with the soulful Sufi sounds of music group Chaar Yaar. Guests were treated to sophisticated spread of pan-Indian vegetarian delicacies, rounding out an event that blended traditional hospitality with an exultant energy....
