India, Feb. 18 -- L ove was in the air this Valentine's Day, but with a deeper purpose. The Capital witnessed a heartwarming celebration as Tamana, the NGO dedicated to empowering individuals with mental, multiple and autism-related disabilities, hosted its special Valentine Carnival, Joyful Hearts, at the residence of the Ambassador of Belgium. Inaugurated by Ambassador Didier Vanderhasselt, the carnival featured over 100 homegrown brands showcasing apparel, jewellery, home decor and gifting. NGOs and small entrepreneurs exhibited their work alongside popular creations by Tamana's students, including cakes, handmade jewellery, artisanal pickles and paper products. Speaking about the event, Dr Shayama Chona, President of Tamana, said, "It's not just a carnival, but a celebration of ability, dignity and community participation, bringing together supporters, corporates, families and well-wishers for a shared cause."
