Mohali, Jan. 9 -- Mohali police on Thursday registered a case after a married woman alleged that the owner of a private company raped her in a hotel room in Zirakpur and later threatened to kill her if she reported the incident. In her complaint, the woman said she had professional interactions with the accused and was taken to a hotel during a work-related meeting,where the assault allegedly occurred. She claimed that due to medication and her mental state, she could not immediately comprehend the assault. Zirakpur police have registered a case under BNS Sections 64(1) (rape) and 351(2) (criminal intimidation).
