India, Jan. 13 -- There's a constant debate around why actors should be careful about choosing to play negative characters, especially after what we saw with last year's Kabir Singh and even the Hollywood film, Joker.

Talking about whether a section of the audience is failing to separate the actor from the character and not treating films as work of fiction, actor Karan Singh Grover, who has dabbled with the grey space, says, "Honestly, you're in an industry where there are a lot of layers that you can't expect everyone to understand.
