CHANDIGARH, Aug. 10 -- A district court on Friday ordered a stay of four days on the notice issued by Chandigarh International Airport Limited (CHIAL) to Chandigarh Industrial and Tourism Development Corporation (CITCO) to vacate its domestic lounge at the airport.

CHIAL had ordered CITCO to vacate the premises by August 10, following which CITCO moved court and pleaded that the notice should be set aside.

On Wednesday, CHIAL and Airport Authority of India (AAI) filed their reply in court. On Thursday, the court put a fourday stay on the termination notice, allowing CITCO to operate the lounge for four more days.

In September 2016, the Punjab and Haryana high court had directed AAI to approach CITCO for setting up lounges at the airport....
