Chandigarh, Sept. 12 -- Top seed Arnav Malik outplayed Hardik Khanduja 6-4, 6-7(3), 6-2 in a hard-fought contest during the boys U-14 quarter-finals in the ongoing AITA Talent Series National Ranking Championship at Roots Tennis Academy in Zirakpur on Wednesday.

In other boys U-14 quarter-final matches, Umang Singh outclassed third seed Kanwar Preet Singh 6-1, 6-3, Harwin Singh blanked Yajat 6-0,6-0 and second seed Aarush Sharma beat Om Kaushik 6-0,6-1 to enter the semi-finals.

In the boys U-12 quarter-finals, Shorya Jistu toppled top seed Rian Rattan (1) 6-3, 6-2 to enter the semi-finals.
