Kolkata/New Delhi, May 1 -- Trinamool Congress candidates staged a sit-in protest outside Kolkata's Khudiram Anushilan Kendra - a counting centre housing EVM strongrooms - on Thursday, alleging that CCTV footage showed outsiders inside the facility handling polled materials. The Election Commission dismissed the allegations, saying poll officials were segregating postal ballots as per due process and the strongrooms remained secure.
