India, Feb. 6 -- Ssunita Ahuja has signed her first-ever film, marking her official entry into Bollywood as an actor. The yet-untitled project will be produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, with Ektaa Kapoor backing the film. According to a report in India Today, Ssunita, wife of Bollywood actor Govinda, has already signed the project and will be seen in a pivotal role. The 58-year-old is expected to shoot for around 20 days, with further details about the film currently being kept under wraps. The development comes at a time when Ssunita has found herself firmly in the public spotlight. Married to Govinda since 1987, she largely stayed away from mainstream acting for decades, maintaining a low public profile even as her husband emerged as one of Hindi cinema's most recognisable stars. Over the past year, however, that distance has narrowed, with Ssunita making headlines for candid remarks about her marriage that sparked widespread discussion online and within the industry. The speculation eventually led Govinda to issue a rare public statement, dismissing the chatter and pushing back against what he described as exaggerated narratives. Around the same time, Ssunita also stepped into the digital space, launching her own vlog channel and adopting a more outspoken and unfiltered public persona. Her Bollywood debut adds another chapter to the Ahuja family's connection with films. Daughter Tina Ahuja made her acting debut with Second Hand Husband, while son Yashvardhan Ahuja is expected to make his own foray into the industry in the near future....
