Ambala, May 16 -- Standing as a testament to what hard work and determination can make you achieve, 17-year-old Ankur Jain was ranked number one in the district in the board of school education Haryana (BSEH) Class 12 examination. Jain, whose father is a rickshaw-puller by profession, is a student of Jain girls senior secondary school here. He has topped the district with 96.4% in Commerce stream.

"I use to study for about 6-7 hours a day and was not enrolled in any tuition classes. I am thankful to my parents and teachers for this success. I was hopeful of a good result but never thought about achieving the first rank in the district," Jain said.
