Shemrock School holds 'graduation ceremony'
Mohali, March 23 -- A grand graduation ceremony was organised for the students of Class 5 at Shemrock Senior Secondary School, Sector 69. The event celebrated the students' transition from primary to middle school, attended with great enthusiasm by parents and teachers.
The ceremony traditionally began with the lighting of the lamp by the students' grandparents, symbolising the blessing of knowledge passed down through generations. On this occasion, the school coordinator refreshed memories of the primary wing by performing a melodious graduation song. The vice house captains shared collective memories of their school journey through speeches and expressed gratitude to their mentors and parents. Following this, class teachers presented graduation certificates to all students on stage. After the ceremony, the coordinator held an orientation session for parents and students, providing information about the middle school curriculum and new expectations.
Sharing his thoughts, chairman AS Bajwa said that It is a matter of great pride to see children cross the threshold of primary school and enter middle school. Shemrock School has always strived to provide an environment where children emerge not just as scholars, but as good human beings. Principal Parneet Sohal added that "I heartily congratulate all my students on their academic and personal growth.
