India, April 9 -- Stand-up comedian Samay Raina has opened up about his show India's Got Latent's controversy, which broke out last year, surrounding an inappropriate question asked by podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia aka BeerBiceps. In his latest stand-up special, Samay Raina Still Alive, the 28-year-old revealed that Ranveer asked the controversial question - 'Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?' - eight times that night, but he edited all that out and kept only one. "Uss episode main BeerBiceps ne woh sawaal aath (8) baar poocha tha. Aur iske alawa bhi kayi antt shantt sawal pooche thhe. Toh jab maine edit dekha, maine kaha, 'Yeh toh bahut gandi baatein kari hain isne'. Chalo ek rakh deta hoon," he said, adding, "Mere POV se maine toh 99% kitaanu maar diye thhe." Samay revealed he had to take down his entire show from YouTube overnight: "Raaton raat pura show hatana pada. Maine bahut mann se banaya tha woh show. It broke me like anything." The comedian also opened up about the guilt he felt as fellow comics faced death threats and legal notices. The backlash to Ranveer's remark was swift-triggering multiple FIRs and widespread outrage. Both of them later issued public apologies. The controversial episodes also featured YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani and content creator Apoorva Mukhija.
