Chandigarh, May 7 -- A fire safety awareness workshop was conducted at Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28-B, Chandigarh, under the joint initiative of the disaster management committee and the NSS wing of the school. Students of Classes 10, 11, and 12 participated in the hands on session. Resource person Devendra Sehawal from the Chandigarh Fire Department, shared insights on the importance of fire safety. He discussed various types of fire fuels including liquid, gas, electric, kitchen-based, and solid fuels, and explained the appropriate fire extinguishers to be used for each.
