Chandigarh, Feb. 23 -- An eye screening camp was successfully organised at Saint Soldier International School, Sector 28-B for the students of Kindergarten to Class 5, with the objective of promoting awareness about eye health and ensuring early detection of vision-related concerns among young learners. The camp was conducted by Optometrist Dr Pooja Sharma,Simply Health Plus, who carried out a comprehensive eye check-up of all students from KG to Class 5. The school's medical officer, Dr Indu, accompanied and assisted throughout the screening process, ensuring the smooth and systematic conduct of the camp. The bus drivers and attendants also underwent eye screening during the camp. Basic tests such as eye coordination checks, colour recognition, and distance vision screening were also conducted to identify any potential concerns. The camp highlighted the importance of regular eye examinations, proper lighting while studying, balanced nutrition, and limited screen time to maintain healthy vision.
