Karnal, Feb. 21 -- The spirit of sacrifice of our soldiers is incomparable and the citizens are safe only because of their bravery and dedication, said Kurukshetra member of Parliament Naveen Jindal on Friday. The MP was speaking at a programme organised at Kurukshetra University to welcome the 'Bharat Ranbhoomi Darshan Yatra' from Dwarka, Gujarat, to New Delhi by the Army, Navy, and BSF. KUK vice chancellor Somnath Sachdeva, Major General Arvind Yadav, CEO of the Flag Foundation of India, Major General (retd) Ashim Kohli, and others were also present. On the occasion, Jindal honoured the soldiers who were part of the yatra and war veterans. He also gave cheques of Rs.21,000 each to 20 'Veer Naris'. The BJP MP also urged people to preserve old or damaged flags with dignity, noting that they would be collected for recycling to create new flags for the nation....
