India, March 6 -- Residents of Sectors 79 and 80 staged a protest on Thursday against the recurring problem of overflowing sewage in the area, blaming rapid commercial expansion and inadequate infrastructure. Leading the protest, area councillor Harjit Singh Bholu said several commercial establishments have come up in the locality but many have failed to install their own sewerage treatment plants as required.
