Panchkula, Jan. 30 -- The school campus resonated with patriotism and pride as Republic Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The school was beautifully decorated in tri - colour hues, reflecting the true spirit of the nation. A special assembly was organised for both junior and senior students, where the significance of the day was highlighted along with the theme of National Girl Child Day, promoting equality and empowerment. The celebration also marked 150 glorious years of Vande Mataram, honouring the iconic song that has inspired generations with its message of devotion and love for the motherland. Students were enlightened about its historical importance and its role in India's freedom struggle. Students showcased their love for the country through graceful dances and melodious patriotic songs. The KG students won hearts as they sang lovely patriotic songs and proudly expressed their joy of being Indians. A powerful PPT presentation was shown to encourage students to be vocal for local, followed by tricolour-themed tiffins that added colour and excitement to the celebrations. Students were also shown videos of great national leaders and their sacrifices in classrooms, instilling values of courage, duty, and nationalism. Addressing the gathering, the Managing Director, Bharat B Gupta, inspired students to perform their duties honestly, emphasising that true patriotism naturally follows sincerity and integrity in one's work. The principal Deepika Bhardwaj, appreciated the dedicated efforts of teachers and students for organising the celebration in such a meaningful and spirited manner.
