PU offers final chance to complete degree
Chandigarh, Feb. 10 -- The Panjab University (PU) has given final opportunity to undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and professional courses students who have exhausted all permissible chances to clear their degrees.
Controller of examinations, Jagat Bhushan, said that the golden chance examination is applicable to semester-system students admitted from 2014 onwards for UG courses, and 2011 onwards for PG and professional courses. The examination will be conducted along with the end-semester examinations in April/May 2026. At present, candidates can apply only for even semester exams.
Students who do not have any reappear chances left, compartment, improvement, additional, deficient or missed practical papers under this provision can apply. The online application portal for UG courses is ugexam.puexam.in and for PG and professional courses, students can apply on pgexam.puexam.in.
The portal will be operational from February 12 till March 11. All applications must be submitted online. The fee for UG courses will be Rs.7,500 per semester and fee for PG and professional courses Rs.15,000 per semester. A 50% concession in fee will be available for SC and ST candidates.
