India, Jan. 11 -- Filmmaker Priyadarshan is a happy man, owing to his daughter and actor Kalyani Priyadarshan's mainstream success with Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra (2025) and his protege director Aditya Dhar finding massive acclaim with Dhurandhar (2025). In an interview, he has, interestingly, also confirmed that Kalyani is set to team up with actor Ranveer Singh in the film Pralay. A recent Insta story posted by Kalyani had her tagging the director of Pralay, Jai Mehta. And now, in an interview to Bollywood Hungama, the filmmaker has said, "My advice to her is the same that I gave to Aditya when he was working with me: 'Don't let success go to your head and don't take failure to your heart'. I told Kalyani to go and do her first Hindi film with Ranveer with the same dedication and sincerity as a Malayalam film." Pralay is touted to be a post-apocalyptic thriller.
