Jalandhar, Feb. 21 -- Deputy commissioner Himanshu Agarwal constituted a committee to conduct a detailed investigation into the flaws related to the construction and design of the Ladhewali flyover constructed in the city. The flyover, inaugurated last year, has been mired in controversy over its design, as high-tension power lines run dangerously close to it, restricting the movement of heavy vehicles. "A committee under the chairmanship of the chief minister's regional officer, Jalandhar, will conduct an investigation. The committee includes SE municipal corporation, Jalandhar and additional SE PSPCL, Jalandhar Cantt, as members, so that all the aspects related to construction and design can be probed," the DC said.
