Chandigarh, Jan. 24 -- Panjab University has tightened campus security by issuing fresh guidelines to regulate the entry of visitors, in continuation of recent security measures such as the introduction of PU vehicle stickers and smart identity cards. Under the new guidelines, entry of outsiders through Gate No. 3 has been barred. The gate will now be used exclusively by PU faculty, staff and students carrying valid stickers or passes issued by the competent authority. Visitors will be allowed to enter the campus only through Gate No. 1 and Gate No. 2 after verification by security personnel. They will be required to register their personal details at the entry point and may be asked to deposit their driving licence or vehicle registration certificate....
