Panchkula, Feb. 19 -- Police arrested an alleged vehicle thief andrecovered 11 stolen vehicles, including nine motorcycles and two scooters, on his disclosure. On February 17, while patrolling in the Ramgarh area, the police received information about a suspicious person roaming on a motorcycle. The team apprehended Gursewak Singh, a resident of Faridkot, Punjab, currently residing in Landran, along with a stolen motorcycle. The accused revealed details about other vehicles and the police recovered nine motorcycles and two Activa scooters. Investigation revealed, Singh used to sell the stolen vehicles at throwaway prices. Verification of the engine and chassis numbers confirmed that the vehicles were stolen.
