Mohali gets new libraries
Mohali, Jan. 3 -- To promote the culture of reading and learning, local MLA Kulwant Singh on Friday kickstarted the construction of new public libraries in various sectors of Mohali, at the total cost of Rs. 1.4 crore. Under this project, one library each will be constructed in Sectors 77, 78, 79, and 80 of Mohali. Each library will be constructed over a total area of 1,800 square feet and will be equipped with modern and user-friendly infrastructure.
The facilities will include a spacious main hall measuring 32 x 27 feet, separate bathrooms for men and women, an office, pantry, and store rooms to ensure smooth functioning and convenience for visitors....
