Mirren and Parker receive lifetime achievement awards at Golden Eve

ctors Sarah Jessica Parker and Helen Mirren were celebrated for their enduring impact on screen at the Golden Eve ceremony, an event held at the Beverly Hilton in the US on Tuesday and aired on January 8. The ceremony honoured the Golden Globes' lifetime achievement recipients ahead of Sunday's main awards (6:30 IST Monday).
Parker, 60, received the Carol Burnett Award, recognising her television career, while Mirren, 80, was presented with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for her contribution to films. Actor Matthew Broderick introduced Parker, with tributes also coming from actor Colman Domingo and her Sex and the City collaborator, actor-producer Kristin Davis.
