Mohali, April 3 -- A man was shot in the arm after a brawl during a birthday celebration turned violent in Mohali on Wednesday. The victim, Rishav Phogat, was hospitalised following the attack near the old Kabaddi ground in Bhagomajra village. Acting swiftly, a police team led by inspector Simarjit Singh, SHO of Sohana police station, arrested four accused, including Ritinder Singh, Savage Khan, Jobanpreet Singh and Hardik Adlakha. Police also recovered a Maruti Suzuki Swift car allegedly used in the crime. On the complaint of Anuj Sharma, an associate of the victim, a case was registered against Ritinder, Savage, Jobanpreet and Hardik, along with 7-8 unidentified persons, under Sections 109, 115 (2), 191 (3), 190 of the BNS and Sections 25/54/59 of the Arms Act.
