Rohtak, Feb. 3 -- A 55-year-old man was beaten to death by two persons over an old dispute at Mahendergarh's Jharli village on Sunday night, police said on Monday. The deceased have been identified as Anil alias Billu. According to eye-witnesses, the incident took place when Anil engaged in a verbal spat with locals Raj Kumar and Vinod. "The duo attacked Anil with sticks and then with an axe. He was taken to the primary health centre at Kanina, where he was referred to Rohtak's Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, where he was declared dead.
