Mohali, Jan. 25 -- Police booked a man for allegedly assaulting police personnel and misbehaving with them while they responded to a domestic violence call in Gilco Society, Kharar. Police said they received a distress call on emergency number 112 in which a woman complained that her husband was drunk and assaulting her inside their residence in the society. Police said the accused became aggressive when officers tried to counsel him and defuse the situation. He allegedly abused the police personnel, resisted their attempt to control him, and engaged in a scuffle.
