Rudrapur, Feb. 22 -- A 30-year-old man was arrested on Saturday for allegedly murdering his elderly aunt in Khatima town of US Nagar district, police said, adding that he murdered her for the want of money. "Police have arrested a man in connection with an elderly woman's murder. Police traced him after scanning CCTV cameras and other scientific methods," said Ajay Ganpati, SSP US Nagar. Police received the information on Thursday night that an elderly woman's body was found in a pool of blood in her house in Devbhoomi Dharamshala colony in Khatima. The deceased was identified as Janaki Chand, 65, who used to live alone. Police rushed to the spot and took the body into possession. The woman's son filed a complaint. Police identified the man as Ravi Chand of Adarsh colony in Khatima, the nephew of the woman. He was arrested from Jhankat village on Sitarganj road on Saturday....
