Legal trouble for Sydney?
India, Jan. 28 -- While actor Sydney Sweeney is gearing up for the official launch of her lingerie line, she may already be in hot water for its ad campaign.
The 28-year-old posted a promotional video on her social media in which she was seen hanging a string of bras across the Hollywood Sign.
The Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles is a protected landmark, restricted to public access and under surveillance to prevent trespassing or defacement.
While Sydney's team secured a permit from Film LA to shoot at the landmark, according to an email obtained by TMZ, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce has emphasised that no license was granted for touching or climbing the sign.
Though the portal also reported that after the shoot, the bras were removed, the Chamber could still pursue action against her and her production crew with charges including criminal trespassing or vandalism.
The promotion stunt was reportedly to generate buzz ahead of her brand's launch, which is reportedly backed by private equity firm Coatue with investors including Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez Bezos.HTC...
