Mohali, Jan. 10 -- The Kharar sub-divisional magistrate (SDM)'s office had to be evacuated on Friday morning after a bomb threat was received on an official email. This comes just a day after a similar threat was received for the Mohali district courts. After Friday morning's mail, the Mohali administration ordered the evacuation of the SDM office and dispatched police and bomb squads to the spot. After a thorough check, police officials informed that no explosive material or suspicious object was found on the premises. Kharar deputy superintendent of police Karan Sandhusaid, "All areas of the SDM office were thoroughly checked and nothing suspicious wasfound. The situation is under control."...
