Chandigarh, Jan. 23 -- A dental health camp was successfully organised at KB DAV Senior Secondary School, Sector 7, with the objective of promoting oral hygiene awareness among school children. The camp was conducted in collaboration with Dr Harvansh Singh Judge Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital. A team of qualified dental professionals carried out free dental check-ups for students, focusing on early detection of dental issues such as cavities, gum problems, and improper oral habits. The doctors also educated students on the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene through proper brushing techniques, a balanced diet, and regular dental visits. During the camp, interactive sessions were held to make children aware of common dental problems and preventive measures. Students were also given personalised advice based on their dental health, and referrals were provided where further treatment was required.
