Jalandhar, Feb. 7 -- A couple were allegedly robbed of Rs.19 lakh cash by unidentified miscreants outside an HDFC branch in Jalandhar Urban estate on Friday afternoon, police said. SHO Division No. 7 police station, Balwinder Singh, said the couple claimed that they had come to deposit the amount in the bank when unidentified robbers, carrying sharp-edged weapons, snatched a cash-laden bag from the woman's hand.
