Jaish-linked Pak terrorist killed in J&K gunfight
JAMMU, Jan. 24 -- A Pakistani terrorist linked to the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terror outfit was killed in a gunfight with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Kathua district on Friday.
"A Pakistani Jaish terrorist has been neutralised by a small JKP team in a joint operation with the Army and CRPF in the general area of Billawar, Kathua district," Jammu IG BS Tuti said in a post on X.
The deceased terrorist was identified as JeM commander Usman alias "Abu Maviya". Offiicals said a large quantity of arms and ammunition, including an M4 automatic rifle, were recovered from him during the operation in a remote village in the Parhetar area. Kathua SSP Mohita Sharma said, "The eliminated terrorist has been identified as Usman of Pakistan.
