Rohtak, Jan. 5 -- Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) national president Abhay Singh Chautala on Sunday alleged that corruption was rampant in land deeds in Haryana. Interacting with mediapersons in Fatehabad after chairing a meeting of the party's state and national executive members, Chautala claimed that BJP leaders were involved in corruption by selling plots in unauthorised colonies. Launching a direct attack on former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, the INLD chief alleged that Hooda and his son, Deepender Singh Hooda, distributed party tickets to their favourites while ignoring merit, which helped the BJP form the government for a third consecutive term. "In the 2024 Haryana polls, every common person was optimistic that BJP will be thrown out of power and Congress will come to power. Hooda and his son had spoiled peoples' hopes. Now, INLD will fulfil people's aspiration and throw BJP out of power in the next assembly polls," he added.
