Holy Mary's School trains students in traffic safety rules & regulations
Mohali, Feb. 4 -- Holy Mary's School, Banur, was visited by Manjeet Singh, traffic inspector, Banur, along with his team on January 30 as part of Rashtriya Sadak Surakhya Maheena.
The visit was organised to create awareness among students about traffic safety rules and regulations. During the session, Singh spoke in detail about the importance of obeying traffic laws, wearing helmets and seat belts, following speed limits, and staying alert while on the road. He stressed that adhering to traffic rules is essential not only for one's own safety but also for the safety of others.
He also clearly explained that driving or riding without a valid license is a punishable offense and advised students not to ride bikes unless they obtain a license and receive proper guidance on road safety rules.
Singh further highlighted the serious consequences of traffic violations and encouraged students to develop responsible road habits from a young age.
The interaction was informative and engaging, helping students understand how discipline and awareness can prevent accidents and save lives.
After the awareness programme, the school principal, Shiny Devassy, expressed her sincere gratitude to Singh and his team for their valuable guidance.
She also requested them to take strict action against students riding bikes without a valid driving license, so that such unsafe practices are discouraged and students are motivated to follow proper traffic rules and safety measures....
