New Delhi, Jan. 24 -- The Delhi high court on Friday granted two more months to the Lokpal to decide afresh on granting sanction to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to file a charge sheet against Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Mahua Moitra in the alleged cash-for-query case. A bench comprising justices Anil Kshetarpal and Harish Vaidyanathan Shankar passed the order after lawyers for CBI and Moitra did not oppose the extension. "Counsel for the non applicants have no objection. The period of disposal is extended by two months," the court said in its order. Moitra is accused of giving access to her official MP IDto Dubai-based businessman Hiranandani to post questions on the Lok Sabha portal onher behalf and receivingexpensive gifts from the businessman and funding her trips abroad....
