Guru Nanak Public School marks 77th Republic Day
Chandigarh, Feb. 6 -- Guru Nanak Public School, Sector 36 D, Chandigarh, marked the 77th Republic Day with unbridled enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The school's courtyard was metamorphosed into a vibrant canvas of the national flag's colours, crafting an ambience of jubilation and festivity. The ceremonial proceedings commenced with the soul-stirring recital of the School Shabad, followed by the unfurling of the National Flag by principal, Gurnam Kaur Grewal, accompanied by the vice principals and school registrar.
This poignant moment was succeeded by the national anthem and a precision-marched past executed by the school's NCC contingent. The cultural programme was a masterful blend of music, dance, poetry, and speeches, showcasing the students' exceptional talent. In her address, Gurnam Kaur Grewal elucidated the true essence of Republic Day, emphasising our Constitution's commitment to democracy, equality, and justice.
