Chandigarh, Jan. 13 -- Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) state media in-charge Baltej Pannu on Monday warned gangsters that anyone taking the law into their hands won't be spared. Addressing a press conference here, Pannu said opposition leaders often raise questions over the law and order situation, but chief minister Bhagwant Mann follows a zero-tolerance policy towards crime. "Any person who fires bullets or indulges in violence will not be dealt with softly. They will be answered in the same language," he said. Pannu asserted that those who believe they can commit crimes in Punjab and then hide in other states are living under a serious misconception. "Punjab Police will chase them to any state and arrest them," he added. Responding to opposition's questions regarding the Anti-Gangster Task Force, he said the task force has carried out arrests across different states and the Punjab Police have been given a free hand to act. The AAP leader also stated that the state government neither patronises gangsters nor promotes gangsters and has no links with criminal elements, unlike earlier regimes....
