EC-appointed special observer named adviser to chief minister
Kolkata, May 10 -- Retired IAS officer Subrata Gupta, who was earlier appointed by the Election Commission as special roll observer during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise and later as the special observer for the West Bengal assembly elections, was on Saturday appointed advisor to the state's newly elected chief minister, Suvendu Adhikari.
