Chandigarh, April 11 -- Former Haryana deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala on Friday accused the BJP government of failing farmers, citing delays in crop procurement, payments and compensation for rain damage. Addressing a press conference in Panchkula, Chautala said that out of 17.37 lakh metric tonnes of wheat arrivals, only 3.92 lakh metric tonnes have been procured.
