DJs, hotels warned against noise violations during exams
Chandigarh, Feb. 13 -- Chandigarh Police on Thursday held a meeting with representatives of DJ associations, hotel managers and owners of banquet halls, clubs and other event venues to ensure strict compliance with noise pollution norms during the ongoing examination season.
It focused on regulating the use of sound systems in public and private spaces and preventing disturbance to students appearing for board and competitive examinations.
