Wrapped up against sub-zero temperatures, she appeared virtually to argue her case, impressing the judge not just with her dedication, but also her rapid-fire speed during submissions. The moment quickly travelled online, with social media users calling it "work from heaven". "Appearing virtually before the Delhi High Court," advocate Shreya Smriti wrote on Instagram, adding, "Grateful for the kind appreciation by the Hon'ble Judge." She also noted, "For an advocate, professional responsibility remains the priority, wherever duty call."
In the video, the judge is heard asking, "Who is the singer who sang Breathless?" before drawing a humorous comparison between Smriti's rapid submissions and singer Shankar Mahadevan's iconic track. "She can qualify for that. One breath she is doing very fast," the judge remarks, later adding, "You are very good, Ms Counsel."
