Delhi-centric parties deprived Punjab of its own capital, says Sukhbir

Addressing a rally in Faridkot on Monday, Sukhbir said that SAD was committed to correcting the "historical injustices inflicted on the state, such as excluding Punjabi-speaking areas during the state's reconstitution on a linguistic basis and allowing half of its river waters to go to Rajasthan".

Claiming that Punjab has been undermined by the Delhi-centric parties, he said, "These parties still want to take away the remaining water of the state by completing the Sutlej Yamuna Link (SYL) canal.
